⚽ Founding & Vision (2018–2020)
Inter Miami CF was officially founded on January 29, 2018, when David Beckham exercised his option to own an MLS team. His dream was to build a world-class football club in Miami that could bring international appeal to American soccer. The name Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami reflected the city’s multicultural identity.
The club’s logo, featuring two herons and bold pink-and-black colors, set the tone for a stylish and modern brand. In 2020, Inter Miami debuted in MLS and established Chase Stadium, a purpose-built venue and training complex.
🏆 First Wins and Growing Pains
The early years were filled with growing challenges on the field. Despite signing former European stars like Gonzalo Higuaín and Blaise Matuidi, success remained limited.
But behind the scenes, the foundations for greatness were being laid — from their youth academy to investment in infrastructure and international branding.
